Paternity Testing in Keqiao: Official Acceptance Point and What to Bring

In Keqiao, Shaoxing University Forensic Identification Center lists an acceptance point at No. 1718 Xingyue Road, Keqiao District (柯桥区兴越路1718号). Call 0575-84786381 before travelling to confirm whether your paternity-testing application and sample collection can be handled there.

Keqiao acceptance point and the main centre

The centre’s Shaoxing University Forensic Center Keqiao acceptance point page names the location as 柯桥区社会治理中心(绍兴大学司法鉴定中心柯桥区受理点). An acceptance point is not necessarily the laboratory where samples are analysed; the listing alone does not confirm that every examination or collection appointment takes place at that address.

The Shaoxing University Forensic Center paternity guide, published on 27 August 2026, gives the main centre’s address as Building 1, ground floor, Nanshan Campus, Shaoxing University, No. 900 Chengnan Avenue, Yuecheng District (绍兴市越城区城南大道900号,绍兴大学南山校区1号楼1楼). Its general contact numbers are 0575-88366431 and 0575-88657621. Ask which location you should attend rather than going to the main campus or Keqiao point interchangeably.

What type of test does the centre describe?

The centre’s forensic biological evidence and paternity scope lists individual identification, three-person parent-child tests, two-person parent-child tests and other kinship examinations among its routine services. A parent-child test and, for example, a grandparent-grandchild kinship test are different requests; tell the centre who is available and what relationship needs to be established.

For household registration, court proceedings, adoption, notarisation or immigration, first ask the receiving authority what report and procedure it requires. The centre’s own guide recommends checking those requirements in advance. Do not assume that a privately collected sample or an informal DNA result will satisfy a judicial or administrative requirement.

Prepare for the appointment

  1. Explain the intended use. Bring any request or instructions from the authority that will receive the report, and confirm the type of examination.
  2. Confirm who must attend and which documents to bring. The published procedure asks examined people to attend with valid identification. For a child without an ID card, the guide mentions a birth certificate or household registration document and discusses exceptions. Ask about your particular circumstances before travelling.
  3. Use the centre’s documented collection process. The guide describes document review, an examination agreement and sampling form, photographic registration and blood collection. Confirm arrangements for children, absent participants or a different kinship test instead of mailing a self-collected sample without instructions.
  4. Agree the written fee, deadline and collection method. Keep the appointment details, agreement and receipt so the people, examination and intended recipient are clear.

The August 2026 guide states a general charge of RMB 1,500 per specimen and an agreed report period within 10 working days. Those are the centre’s published terms, not a guaranteed total for every family or an appointment-time promise. Ask how many specimens and additional examinations your case requires and what date the agreed period starts. The guide also says fasting is not required for its paternity test.

The location and process information above comes from the university centre’s own website, checked on 11 October 2026. Confirm the current appointment and practice scope directly with the centre and the relevant judicial-administration register; the Keqiao address listing should not be mistaken for a separate institution’s licence.
